Rewind in Colour
“Let me, O let me bathe my soul in colours; let me swallow the sunset and drink the rainbow.” ― Khalil Gibran
The symbolism of colours stems from psychological effects, biological conditioning and cultural developments they have held in our history. However, it’s not just about what they represent, but also about what they make us feel. Every colour has a meaning, a sentiment attached to it. Our Rewind in Colour collection, hence, commemorates the same.
This collection is an augmentation of our rewind collection. Colour has the power to pacify austerity, and to evoke emotions in us. While Rewind reminisced about the past, inspired by the awe-inspiring monuments of the world as symbols of triumph and tragedy, Rewind in colour, is an attempt to revitalise our states of mind with a splash of vividness, taking a trip to the past into moments of nostalgia, and bringing those bitter-sweet memories back into the present. Each piece in this collection is hand painted with enamelling to add that distinct sense of vibrance, where each colour represents a mood, a recollection, and a cultural significance.
