WORLD OF PRAKSHI

ROOTED IN JEWELLERY

Founded in 2013, Prakshi Fine Jewelry is led by siblings Prakshi and Rohan Sharma, shaped by a family legacy of jewellers from New Delhi, India. Growing up around precious stones and heirloom pieces, Prakshi & Rohan’s understanding of jewellery came naturally. Being surrounded by fine jewellery from an early age quietly trained their eye, long before design became a conscious path.

Today, Prakshi Fine Jewelry has a strong presence across the Middle East, including the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. Having built its voice internationally, the brand returns home to New Delhi, India with a deeper sense of purpose—guided by craft, family, and a shared way of working.

Excellence & creation at the heart of diamond

As a younger brand, our early years were defined by diamonds with sharp intent—trillions and emerald cuts that celebrated structure, edge, and precision. Over time, our relationship with the diamond has evolved. Today, marquise, pear, and oval cuts lead the way, chosen for their movement, softness, and ability to catch light with quiet emotion. This shift mirrors Prakshi’s intuition and her deep understanding of how modern diamond seekers connect with their stones.

Each piece begins with the diamond. Its shape, proportions, and setting determine how it lives on the body. Guided by this clarity, our karigars handcraft every creation with care and restraint, honouring the stone rather than overpowering it. Through their precision and patience, the diamond is allowed to speak in its truest form.

THE SPIRIT OF DESIGN

The spirit of Prakshi Fine Jewelry is shaped by restraint, intention, and a quiet sense of confidence. Defined by clean lines and natural forms, each design begins with a personal moment—drawn from Prakshi’s travels, milestones, and lived experiences. Jewellery, here, is a way of marking time. The journey began with the Celestial collection in 2014, imagined through the colours and mystery of the night sky. Inspired by visits to the Griffith Observatory, sky maps, and constellations, it introduced charm jewellery crafted with rare, one-of-a-kind diamond slices and a zodiac constellation series. Citylights followed, translating memories of New York into pieces that echo the scattered sparkle of high-rise windows after dark.

Travel continued to shape the design language—Escape emerged from white sand beaches and quiet getaways, Rise from journeys through mountains and forests in New Zealand, and Rewind from time spent in Rome, studying the weight and beauty of old architecture. During the stillness of the pandemic came Bloom, born from a renewed connection with nature and the hope it offered. The Dragonfly pieces within the collection became symbols of new beginnings.

Evermore followed—a desire to capture memories and hold them close in form of photographs, charms, initials, & more. Each collection carries a fragment of her story, translated into jewellery that feels personal, wearable, and enduring. Crafted by India’s finest karigars, every piece reflects balance, harmony, and the ease of modern luxury—designed to move seamlessly from day to night, worn and lived in over time.

Vision

My vision for Prakshi Fine Jewelry has always been to create jewellery you can truly live in—pieces that feel natural to wear, collect meaning over time, and become part of everyday life. Rooted in Indian jewellery craftsmanship and shaped by my experiences in the West, the brand brings together tradition and modernity in a way that feels intuitive rather than imposed. I am inspired by women who lead with quiet strength and conviction, and by my own journey building a fine jewellery brand in a male-dominated industry. Designing as a woman, for women, I focus on creating pieces that value intention over excess—jewellery that is wearable, personal, and enduring, not reserved for rare occasions. As the brand continues to move across geographies from East to West, my aim is to reinterpret heritage for the way women live today, without losing the depth of craft behind each piece. Beyond design, purpose matters deeply to me. A portion of every sale supports WISDOM, an NGO providing primary education to underprivileged girl children in India—extending the idea of empowerment beyond jewellery.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

At Prakshi Fine Jewelry, craft begins with Prakshi’s eye—her instinct for proportion, balance, and how a piece should feel when worn. Every design starts with her sketches and thoughts, which are then translated into CAD, allowing her to refine form, scale, and stone placement with precision. From here, CAM and wax moulding bring the design into its first tangible form, setting the foundation for what follows. Casting and metal molding are carried out through trusted karigars in Mumbai and Jaipur—cities Prakshi returns to often, valuing their deep-rooted jewellery traditions—with select detailing completed in Delhi. Each piece is carefully soldered and built layer by layer, followed by polishing and buffing to soften edges and reveal the metal’s natural warmth. Stone setting is approached with restraint and intention. Whether using collet or prong settings, the focus remains on allowing the diamond to breathe and catch light naturally. Techniques such as stepping and darting refine structure, ensuring comfort, balance, and longevity. The final finishing is slow and deliberate, ending with a detailed quality check—one Prakshi is closely involved in. Crafted using responsibly sourced precious metals and stones, the brand remains committed to exceptional quality, ethical practices, and mindful design—where beauty, craftsmanship, and conscience exist in equal measure.
